thin the bow from each side
using a straight router bit
from 3/4" near the handle to 1/4" at the end
rasp it mirror smoothe

CLAMPED

soak the bow over night, then bend and clamp
ratchet the two ends to make the 're-curve
not too tight
let it set all night

I BUY THE STRING FROM THREERIVERSARCHERY.COM ONLINE FOR $14.00. I HAVE MADE SEVEN. I HAVE THROWN AWAY SEVEN THAT BROKE. I HAVE LEARNED THAT YOU MUST THIN THE BOW ENOUGH TO BEND. IF YOU TRY TO BEND IT BEFORE IT IS READY, IT WILL BREAK. MAKING THE RECURVE, DON'T APPLY TOO MUCH PRESSURE, OR IT WILL BREAK.
